Ultra Rare Sculptural Rosewood and Bronze End Table Designed by Ashley Hicks. Truly stunning piece of functional sculpture created entirely at the Ashley Hicks studio based in Chelsea.
With only a very small number of these tables ever produced, given the name ‘Sabre 57’ their exquisitely crafted legs sweep elegantly in the shape of sabre tooth, finishing with a clasp that holds the incredibly grained Brazilian Rosewood top adorned with glass.
Designed as part of Ashley Hicks Studio ‘57’ collection this highly valuable and collectible table was debuted at the London Design Festival in 2019. An ode to modernist sculpture Hick’s sighted Elizabeth Frink and Henry Moore as major influences on the design and its visible in every aspect of the design.
Finished to the highest standards, the bronze legs are sleek and polished to the point from their base to the form of the clasp, the fine Brazilian Rosewood top is protected with a removable glass top to protects its delicate graining.

This piece is awaiting approval to be placed in an Abstract sculpture auction at Sothebys & may well fetch more than the priced being asked, so this is a golden opportunity to purchase at this piece at a fixed price.
