Vintage High Back Wicker & Woven Bamboo Chair by Dirk van Sliedrecht for Rohe Noordwolde
A stunning handwoven bamboo cane chair designed by Dirk van Sliedrecht for Rohe Noordwolde. The piece features an intricately crafted seat and frame made out of thick and thin bamboo shafts and wicker binding.
The chair would work perfectly as a dining room or kitchen addition, as a statement piece in one’s bedroom or studio space or on a terrace, patio or in one’s garden as long as it's sheltered from the elements. The chair would also work great in a bistro, cafe or restaurant.
Origin: manufactured by Rohe Noordwolde in the Netherlands during the 1960s.

in fair vintage condition. The bamboo frame has a nice texture as well as a thin glaze to protect it from harm, which has some large marks and visible scratches and dents. As would be expected after nearly 74 years of use.
