Hi my name is Trudy and I run Leigh Vintage. We’re a local shop based in the beautiful little town of Leigh-on-Sea. If ever you’re passing, stop by and say hello! 

A bit about myself; I’ve always had a very keen interest in design, style and interiors but having three children meant that I had to place my dreams of owning my own design/vintage shop on hold for a few years (try 20!) I’m sure some of you can empathise with this! But now they’re grown up, I decided to take the (very scary) plunge and open up my very own shop. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions to say the least, but I genuinely love owning my shop and being able to connect my lovely customers with beautiful vintage pieces. 

I adore mid-century design and when I find a beautiful piece I take the time to carefully restore it, as best I can, back to its former glory. I try to allow the wonderfully designed pieces speak for themselves and I just love the feeling of seeing a customer find ‘that’ piece that they’ve been searching for.
